Magnolia is different. We think it’s important to know more than just our customers’ names – we need to know them on a personal level so we can imagine how their new landscape will fit and enhance their lifestyle. Our specialty is designing environments that fit the space and look like they were meant to be there. If our customers are happy, then we’ve done our job!
About Tom:
Tom’s love for the outdoors can be traced back to his childhood; his fascination with flowers, plants and trees was evident as soon as he began walking and talking. In fact, he still has his old leaf collection! Tom originally went to school to study Engineering, and upon finding that he wanted a field with a more creative component, changed his area of study to Landscape Design. After working as landscape foreman for a number of years at a successful local company, he decided to start his own company. His handpicked team of project managers and assistants ensures every project goes according to plan and stays true to the customer’s vision.
Tom’s goal when starting a new project is one hundred percent customer satisfaction. His perfectionist tendencies and his love for putting all the design elements together in a finished work of art have created happy yards and happy customers all over the Twin Cities! Tom enjoys spending time with his wife Nicole, their three beautiful daughters and the family dog, Stella. They love having family movie nights and sitting around the backyard fire pit telling “ghost” stories and making s’mores.
Seth Eggert (alias: Gordo)
Title: Foreman
Seth grew up in Chaska and is looking forward to buying a home in Belle Plaine in the near future! He loves being able to bring his artistic side together with his appreciation for nature, and likes meeting new customers and taking on the new challenges each project brings. When he’s not working, Seth spends time with his family and is all about “fun in the sun.” His hobbies include snowmobiling, canoeing, playing hockey and racquetball and hunting in the great outdoors.

Ryan Jacobs (alias: Hod)
Title: Water Feature Specialist
Ryan, who grew up in Carver and now lives in Mound, loves that his job allows him to be outside everyday. He likes the energy shared among the crew he works with and likes facing a new challenge each time he arrives to a project. When he’s not working, Ryan is probably snowboarding, enjoying the lake on his boat, playing basketball or a round of paintball with friends (depending on the season, of course).

Ben Robb (alias: B.R.)
Title: Installations Guru and Mr. Fix-It
Ben hails from Cologne, MN and proudly still resides there! Known for his keen ability to fix the trucks and equipment when they encounter any mechanical difficulties, Ben also loves the outdoors and the challenge of big projects. In his spare time, he likes 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, hunting, and most of all: spending time with his four-year-old daughter Leah.

What our customers say about us....
"We hired Magnolia Landscape to give our front yard, entryway steps, and sidewalk a new fresh look. Tom’s design included new plantings, raised beds, rock outcroppings, and a wonderful new paver sidewalk. After the work was completed, we had many neighbors stop by to tell us how nice our new landscape looks. Crew did a wonderful job!"
